The villa makes a perfect family accommodation and an ideal base for exploring Kalkan and the surrounding area. A detailed manual gives information about the area including suggestions for day trips and recommended restaurants, plus details of historic sites to visit and activities for the more adventurous.
The attractive local beach is a 15 mins walk from the villa with safe swimming. From the neighbouring harbour you can take water taxis to beach clubs around Kalkan. There are also boat trips to outlying islands. Alternatively, a taxi from Kalkan will take you by road to Kaputas beach (a 10 minute drive) situated at the bottom of a ravine. Slightly further away is the famous Patara beach (15 minutes by car, taxi or bus) with over 18km of white sand.
